Residing on a small acerage in Brisbane, Queensland, our Goldens are firstly our pets and companions which we show when we have time.

Dobro Kennels commenced in 1982 in NSW Australia with the arrival of
Larbourd Piet who was the dog of my dreams. Shadow gained her Championship Title and CDX and gave me two lovely litters of which Ch Dobro Steely Dan CD , Ch Dobro Somerset and Ch Dobro Tamarind UD who was our first bred Specialty CC winner in Melbourne in the late 80’s. These dogs were owned by Lyn Jones “Jonesh”
From these combinations our lines have progressed through the years.

In 2000 we Imported Frozen semen from the famous Ritzilyn kennels (UK)
Thank you to Lynne and George Hennessey for this oppurtunity to have these fabulous bloodlines, both boys Top Stud dogs and winners of the Alison Nairn Cup.
